A section of some seized vehicles abandoned at the Ogun II Area Command.
When the Customs Area Controller of Ogun II Command, Comptroller Saleh Bala itemized the challenges at the command last week, he noted the possible attacks by snakes that could find homes in the abandoned vehicles at the Command. Findings showed that some of these vehicles have been seized over three decades ago.
A survey of the area by MMS Plus also revealed that Comptroller Bala fears aren’t unfounded.

In recent times, Nigeria Customs Service (NCS) has lost officers in the vendetta against smugglers, but we wouldn’t want to lose any on account of snake bites.
Efforts towards evacuating the vehicles via auction should be expedited as assured by the Zonal Coordinator, Zone A, Assistant Comptroller-General (ACG), Modupe Aremu.
