BEARS & BULLS
Bears: NIMASA Trembles
The ambience at the Nigerian Maritime Administration and Safety Agency (NIMASA) is characterized by fear and uncertainty as the agency is set to lay off over 1000 workers.
The questions on lips of the workers include – who is going to be transferred? How long before he or she is finally laid off?
Meanwhile, the dust and uncertainty over the Tompolo’s mega contract given to Snecou Financial Services Company Limited is yet to settle. Snecou is owned by the Rivers State Chairman of the All Progressives Congress (APC), Mr. Davies Ikanya and the company is famous for embezzling funds through white elephant projects.
