BEARS & BULLS
BEARS: Marijuana Party
Marijuana, weed, skunk or Igbo as it is popularly referred to in Nigeria was seen publicly displayed for sale around the port environment, precisely in front of the popular Elenganza building at Apapa.
Our correspondent sighted the seller with four trays of the weed as he attempts to roll into sticks for his customers.
Smoking or unlawful possession of this substance in Nigeria is an offence and liable to conviction for a term not less than four years without the option of a fine.
We call on all relevant security agents to step up and curb this menace, especially the Nigerian Drug Law Enforcement Agency (NDLEA) and the Nigerian Police.
