The recent directive of the Nigerian Ports Authority (NPA) to rid the Lagos port access roads of empty containers and idle trucks has eased up to port access roads to an extent but at the detriment of adjoining routes such as the Lagos-Badagry expressway, Oshodi-Mile 2 expressway, Orile- Costain road, Old Ojo road, among others. The situation reached the apex this week as several commuters spent between two to five hours in gruesome traffic-jam. How long would this hardship continue? Is there light at the end of this tunnel?
