The commercial motorcycle riders popularly known as okada riders have resumed their reckless driving since the governor of Lagos state, Babatunde Raji Fashola lifted embargo on the trade recently.
It is conspicuous gave them the freedom because of the 2015 election having learnt a hard lesson from the recent Ekiti State Gubernatorial elections.
The okada riders most of whom are Hausas have taken over the roads in Lagos so much that they drive against the traffic anyone questioning them.
Last week, one of them knocked down an unsuspecting young man trying to cross the road not knowing that an okada man was driving on a wrong lane. The injury sustained by the young man on the left leg if healed, the scar will remain forever.
Bears ask; is this how to win elections?
