Last week our correspondent observed the mad tussle between freight agents and the security personnel at the CMA CGM shipping company in Apapa, Lagos. Over 12 people struggled continuously to gain access to the premises to stamp one document or another despite the social distancing measures in place to curb the spread of the COVID-19 virus.
CMA CGM has a canopy in the premises and seats arranged in an orderly manner but the security personnel as well as other managerial staff appeared unperturbed with the mad rush.
Perhaps CMA CGM plans to breed COVID-19.
