BEARS: Cheer Not For Single Window Committee

The news that President Bola Tinubu has set up a committee for the implementation of National Single Window platform should not be a thing of joy but a moment of reflection for stakeholders.  This is subject is as old as fifteen years old in the maritime industry but agencies choose to operate in silos by running peculiar institution platform. The committee is advised to focus on integration and infusion of new technologies for a common goal and shared intelligence.  So far, nothing to cheer about until there is reason for that.
