Many people read with dismay the digital fliers circulated by some members of staff of Federal Ministry of Transportation and Marine and Blue Economy celebrating the redeployment of Dr. Mrs Magdalene Ajani, the Permanent Secretary who has just been redeployed on account of her statutory four years’ Service posting to a place. This group of workers who described her as a “Mischievous Tyrant” got their description and their syntax wrong when they stated they were celebrating “the inglorious redeployment..” of Ajani. The “Head Mistress” as she is called played her role of honour as the head of the Ministry. She never allowed wastages, misleading her bosses; she encouraged compliance and due process and was empathetic. Usually, every no-nonsense administrator is a sadist and power-drunk. This is very evident even in private sector. So, at last, this campaign was sponsored. Her exit is a respite to many fraudulent minded minds. The next six months will either vindicate or nail her. Her legacy is spotless!
