The recent disposition of the CG of Customs, Col. Hameed Ali(rtd) in Lagos at the Tin Can Island Port(TCIP) Customs Command, where he ate food as against his stand during his maiden visit to Lagos as CG, left many wondering if the incorruptible Ali has changed. Earlier, he had refused to eat on account that the corrupt customs officers could easily get him to do their biddings. This time around, he ate, drank , hob-nobbed and waited for excess “CARGO and KPOMO!” It was a sight to behold. Is corruption fighting Ali back now or is that a new strategy to know the most corrupt Command via the size of the meat inside the soup?
