New Onne Port Manager, Zhattau Assumes Duty
Prince Gangtim Cirdap Zhattau has assumed duty as the new Onne Port Manager, Nigerian Ports Authority (NPA).
Prince Zhattau is the 16th Port Manager of Onne Port Complex, since the existence of the Port,in 1992.
He hails from Langtang, in Langtang North LGA of Plateau State. After his early education in Langtang, he attended Government College, Keffi, and later graduated with a Bachelor of Arts Degree (BA Hons) in Public Administration at Ahmadu Bello University (ABU) Zaria between 1987 to 1990.
Prince Zhattau also holds a Masters Degree in Transport Planning (MTP) from Lagos State University, Lagos.
He has served at the NPA for over 30 years, rising through the ranks. For instance, he served as Terminal Manager, Kirikiri Lighter Terminal (KLT), Lagos, and Terminal Manager, Calabar Port,as well as Personal Assistant (PA) to Port Manager, Lagos Port, and PA to GM, Western Port Operations respectively.
In 2020, he was appointed Traffic Manager, Onne Port, a position he held until recently, when he became the Port Manager, Onne Port Complex.
Prince G.C. Zhattau has attended National and International courses, and a member of several professional bodies -Chattered Member, Chattered Institute of Logistics and Transport of Nigeria and Member, Nigeria Institute of Shipping (NIS).
The Port Manager is a recipient of several awards in Nigeria, on account of his excellence in Global Logistics and Supply Chain Management; contributing to the Organizational Growth of NPA and Nigerian economy.
Prince G. C. Zhattau is married with children.
