Mr. Ossude Takes Over As Bleasdale Retires At CMA CGM
The management and staff of CMA CGM recently organised a send forth party for the outgoing Managing Director, Mr. Peter Bleasdale as he clocks retirement age thereby stepping down as the helms man of the organisation.
Mr. Bleasdale has worked with CMA CGM for thirteen years starting as a commercial manager until he attained the status of the MD, a position he occupied until his retirement.
According to the Human Resources Manager (HRM) of CMA, he started together with Bleasdale in commercial department before they parted ways as they both progress in the organisation.
Describing the outgoing MD as a humble man who carries everybody along in the scheme of things, he said he would be missed by all the staff even as he stated that he had done so much to be remembered for during his stay in the company.
“He is a humble man, as you can see everybody is rejoicing here today because of him. That is to tell you how well he is loved by the staff,” Mr. Ogbonna said.
However, the Personal Assistant to the MD during his stay in the organisation, Mrs. Olanike Buhari said the outgoing MD had a good relationship with the staff stating that he knew all the staff in all the departments.
According to her, the staff referred to him as ‘baba’ which he initially rejected but later came in terms with adding that the outgoing MD could be official but was actually a black man in white skin.
Meanwhile, Mr. Francois Ossude has taken over as the new Managing Director.
