Late Barr. (Mrs.) Margaret Orakwusi

As the Maritime Industry’s Amazon, Mrs Margaret Onyema-Oraekwusi begins her final journey home, the MMS Woman Of Fortune Hall of Fame (MMS WofHoF) Initiative has paid glowing tribute to a woman who contributed immensely to the development of the industry.

In a tribute by Mr. Kingsley Anaroke, the Publisher of MMS Plus Magazine and Founder/Chief Executive of MMS WoFHoF Initiative, though Margaret Oraekwusi is gone but she lives on.

He expressed the sympathy of the MMS WOFHOF Initiative with the immediate and the entire Onyema/Orakwusi family on her death.

“There are two classes of great people in the universe. Those who have worked assiduously to make this world more habitable and those who have contributed significantly in their exclusive little world.

“Interestingly, Barrister (Mrs.) Margaret Nkem Onyema-Oraekwusi stood astride the classes. No wonder since her passage, there has been a palpable void in the maritime industry.

“History will always remember her for the key role she played in adding immense value to the world in her time. She left an indelible mark for this generation and the generations yet unborn to see and applaud. What an Iconic personality!

“MMS WOFHOF Initiative sympathizes with the immediate and the entire Onyema/Orakwusi family on the death of our Chairperson, Board of Trustees (BOT). Her tenure as the BOT Chairperson was eventful and value-yielding to the industry and the humanity at large.

“We thank God for giving her special wisdom in her sojourn on earth but most importantly seek that He grants you all the courage to bear the Late Barr. (Mrs.) Margaret’s eternal call. May her soul rest in perfect peace. We deeply and sincerely share in your grief” the statement reads.
