MMS WOFHOF Holds 3rd WILCEP Event To Empower Nigerian Women

MMS WOFHOF Initiative is set to empower more Nigerian women as the 3rd Women in Leadership and Career Empowerment Programme (WILCEP) Africa, the mentorship arm of MMS WOFHOF Initiative, a Non-Profit Organization registered in Nigeria.
The 2-day programme will be held at the MMS International Image Centre, House 34, F Close, 1st Avenue, Festac Town, Lagos on 13th&14thAugust, 2019.
The event on the theme; “Building lasting business with credits and grants in challenging times” will start by 10:00 am daily.
The Programme Officer, Mrs. Nkechi Chisom disclosed that the programme will enhance the capacity of micro and small business operators as well as emerging entrepreneurs, especially women.
According to the Programme Officer, WILCEP Africa will also provide opportunities for students, career persons or intending entrepreneurs to be adequately prepared for challenges they may face as they navigate through their career path.
Recall that after the first edition, a book was published titled “Mentorship: The link to Effective Leadership”, which has been an inspiring book driving many Nigerian youths to reach the peak in various endeavours.
It is also worthy to note that over 300 mentees have gone through the WILCEP Africa Scheme with many given scholarships for entrepreneurial skills development in China.
WILCEP Africa is a platform which match-makes mentors to mentees bridging what has been a rare privilege for one-on-one mentorship guide.
The mentors are mostly the MMS Hall of Famers with high pedigrees in different field of their professions. The program will also feature training menu for corporate bodies, schools, associations and individuate
MMS WOFHOF Initiative is founded with the aim of discovering and celebrating the sterling qualities and contributions of select women in Africa for impact on the younger generations. These women of substance, role models and mentors inducted are thereafter paired with mentees for leadership, career growth and entrepreneurial drive in different fields.
Top personalities like the Managing Director of Bank of Industry (BoI), Olukayode Pitan; the Managing Director, Development Bank of Nigeria, Tony Okpanachi; Co-Director, Al-Hadiat Nigeria, Mrs. Folake Soji-George; Public Relations Officer (PRO), Apapa Command, Nigeria Customs Service (NCS), Nkeiru Nwala; General Manager, Corporate Communications, SIFAX Group, Mr. Muyiwa Akande, among others.
