The Scientific and Surgical Instrument Dealers Association of Nigeria(SSIDEN) recently held its Annual General Meeting(AGM) during which election of officers took place.
The event which took place in Lagos saw the re-election of Mr. Johnbull Okenwa as the Chairman with 133 votes, while Mr. Obinna Onunkwo, the first runner-up emerged the Vice Chairman of the association.
Other members of the re-consituted executive are: Leonard Ononuju, Secretary; Onyeje Micheal,Financial Secretary; Chukwujekwu Ogbonna, Treasurer; Patrick Umuzurike and Ubabuike Christian, Welfare officers; Chibuike Ekwuribe,Public Relations Officer; and Felix Uzoma,Provost.
The re-elected chairman who thanked the members of the association for the confidence reposed in the leadership, promised to render selfless service and work for the welfare of members.
The electoral committee members include, Mr. Uzomah Okorie,the chairman; Mr. Philip Ekeh, Mr. Austine Omekagu, Chief Chinedu Chris, while Mr. C.I. Nkemadium of Nkemadim & Associate and, Mrs. Ifeoma Iloh of MMSPlus Newspaper who were observers played the role of returning officers.
