IG Appoints Ibine Commissioner Eastern Ports
Mr Ebojune Joshua Ibine, has been made the new commissioner of Police the
Eastern Port Command, Port Harcourt. He was formerly the commissioner of Police Provost at the Force Headquarters, Abuja.
He took over from James Olatunji Caulkrick who has been redeployed as the Assistant Inspector General of Police( A I G ) Maritime Lagos.
The new commissioner of Police while taking over assured stakeholders of the need to cooperate with his administration which he promised will be built on improving on the existing structures of his predecessor in office.
The commissioner also reassure all maritime stakeholders in the marine sector in the Eastern ports command of their safety in carrying out their legitimate business.
He further warned that those who do not have business at the ports under his command
should stay off so as not to be cog in the smooth operations of goods and services in the Eastern ports command.
Ibine who is a course 13 member of the famous police staff college in Jos, Plateau State promised to ensure that there will be peace throughout his tenure as commissioner of police at the Eastern ports Command.
He however warned that officers both rank and file should carry out their duties
without fear or favour, for any officer found wanting will be dealt with according to police laid down procedures.
