The war against pipeline vandalism is one that could save Nigeria’s economy from further crisis and it’s a war that recorded a major win last week as 35 suspected vandals of petroleum pipelines were arrested.
The Nigerian Navy Forward Operating Base (FOB) in Ibaka, Mbo Local Government Area of Akwa Ibom State, said it arrested the vandals and also impounded 408 drums of illegally refined Automotive Gas Oil (AGO) from the suspects.
