When the CEO of Starz Group, Engr. Greg Ogbeifun gave his speech at “A Day with Maritime Students” on May 27th children’s day, he was wholly nationalistic and emotional as he called for ship owners to create opportunities for seatime training and employment onboard vessels. There are few who are as passionate as Engr. Greg on the issue of developing capacity for the nation’s maritime sector. The chairman at the occasion was almost in tears as he spoke from his heart.
The need to ensure that the Nigerian youth are given ample opportunity to learn and grow in the profession can never be overemphasized.
