When the Minister of Transportation, Hon. Rotimi Amaechi arrived over an hour late at the opening ceremony of the 2-day national conference on Truck Transit Parks (TTPs) in Abuja which should have kicked-off at 9am, he was shocked that the event had been pending. After apologizing for the delay, he remarked that, “9am is 9am. There is nothing like Nigerian time and I expect that the event should have prior to my arrival”.
Punctuality is indeed a good virtue and Amaechi is spot-on, emulate him!
