BULLS: FAAN’s Mrs. ‘Honesty’
The Independent Corrupt Practices and other related offences Commission (ICPC) recognized a staff of the Federal Airports Authority of Nigeria, Mrs. Josephine Ugwu for her honesty and integrity in the discharge of her duties.
In 2015, Mrs. Ugwu while carrying out her duties as a cleaner at the Murtala Muhammed Airport, Lagos saw the sum of $12,200,000 in a toilet and submitted it to security officials. She has also refunded several other sums lost by passengers. She received a handshake from President Muhammadu Buhari and was also given a brand new apartment. It is encouraging to see that we have such honest and trustworthy people despite several cases of corruption in the country. If all Nigerians would display honesty and exemplery conducts in every aspect of their activities, the nation will be a bether place.
