BULLS: Beauty Ends War

‘Executive Order has no impact on seaports’
Executive Vice Chairman/CEO of ENL Consortium, Princess Vicky Haastrup

The war ended between the Nigerian Shippers’ Council (NSC) and the Seaport Terminal Operators  Association of Nigeria(STOAN) on Thursday.  STOAN had gone to court to challenge the new regulatory status of the Council to determine terminal charges for the terminal operators  and as such had fallen apart with the agency and consequently preferred the old order where the Nigerian Ports Authority(NPA) was toothless everything.

For the first time, the Chairman of the group, Princess Vicky Haastrup spoke so glowingly not just of the Council but of the person of the NSC boss, Barr. Hassan Bello, whom she said deserves an award, to the chagrin  of many. Before now, if you wanted a sad day  for Princess,  just mention the NSC or Bello.  Princess  can’t be blamed either. She is in business and needs all the conducive environment to maximize profits, but NSC would be the nightmare.
Princess is beauty in itself and  beauty can make peace be at peace with even war.
To many observers at the two different fora where the War ended it seemed not just ordinary.  It is either something had happened or that something is about to happen to warrant this sudden turn around of fortunes sought for years without luck. She added also that they do not care who became the regulator in the industry and had nothing against the NSC.
Does the sword of the Supreme Court have any role here?  Whatever it is, this move has  got the Bulls!
