When the Western Ports of Nigerian Ports Authority kicked-off its sensitization programme last week Monday in a bid to decongest the Apapa and Tin Can port access roads and campaign for its registration of roadworthy trucks, the Authority was put to same as one of its Tow trucks broke down as soon as the exercise began. The faulty vehicle had to be towed around all through the exercise leaving the authority with only one free Tow truck as it only had three.
The situation was really embarrassing and one of the participants during the exercise comically demanded for the health check of the NPA vehicles.
