If you do, you would understand how perplexing it could be to have very important calls coming in while you are equally working on something urgent and important. The esteemed Managing Director of Nigerian Railway Corporation (NRC) Engr. Fidet Okhiria was caught in this web of ‘extreme importants’ recently as he received three phone calls while making a presentation at the National Transport Summit organized by the Chartered Institute of Transport Administration (CIoTA) in Abuja.
The calls were coming from his superior as the NRC boss answered “Dear Sir” and repeated “Sir” throughout the conversation but he was on the podium addressing an audience and it wasn’t the proper conduct.
