MMS Plus visited the headquarters of the Nigerian Ports Authority (NPA) last week, our correspondent was shocked to find several senior officers of the Authority squeezed in small offices.
A staff of the Authority comically likened their make- shift offices to a staff room of a public secondary school and she wasn’t wrong with her analogy.
The offices weren’t only overcrowded but also as noisy as a marketplace, little wonder none of the workers were seen to be seriously engaged. How can the staff be expected to work in such rowdy environment. If the status quo remains the same then NPA may just be training its staff with indolence.
NPA please conclude the repairs so workers can go back to their regular offices!
