BEARS: Ajaero: Onanuga Must Go
It is becoming clearer why President Tinubu had to consider Bayo Onanuga as an after-thought political aide. Onanuga was unapologetically acidic in his confrontation against the APC and Bola Ahmed Tinubu’s opposition candidates and political parties.
This, of course, got him condemnations and made him an adversary to even some members of the APC family. It took the intervention of some people for Tinubu to consider him for a Senior Special Adviser(SSA) Media and Special Duties.
But Onanuga surprisingly still thinks that Nigeria is still in campaign mood. He unleashed his venom on Comrade Joe Ajaero, President of Nigeria Labour Congress(NLC) for daring to ask questions on why Gov. Hope Uzodinma used thugs to attack him. Onanuga’s script was dripping with insensitivity and demeaning once again of a supposed media role model. As the NLC embarks on strike on Tuesday to protest dehumanization of the Labour leader and union’s corporate integrity, Onanuga and his likes should be stripped of their positions.
