The world is still expecting the duo of the Association of Nigerian Licensed Customs Agents{ANLCA} and the National Association of Government Approved Freight Forwarders{NAGAFF} to interpret the visit of the Comptroller General of Customs(CGC) to their various offices in relations to their earlier declared 21 days ultimatum for the withdrawal of services from the nation’s ports. Since after the visit of the Customs boss both associations have not made any public statement on whether their threat could still be carried out or not. Yes, the deadline has not elapsed but it seems obvious that nothing could be done again following the visit of the ‘big man’ because there are no sustaining statements or actions. They called out stakeholders to support and share their grievances but now that they have been ‘ settled’ by Ali they recoiled into their shelves unannounced. Can they ever have the guts to call for such action again?
