Women in Logistics and Transportation (WiLAT Nigeria) is poised to join the rest of the world for the 2023 WiLAT Day.
The event, themed: Women Entrepreneurs In A Dynamic Environment” will take place in Lagos on Thursday, July 27, 2023, at 10 am.
Speaking on the forthcoming event which holds yearly to empower women who work in transport modes, logistics firms, training institutions, and the military, Pharm Mrs Khadijat Sheidu-Shabi, Chairperson WiLAT Nigeria disclosed that the entire industry stands to benefit from the event.
“The aim of WiLAT is to encourage women from all aspects of the industry to showcase professionals who are role models. They will serve as facilitators of designated topics as well as mentoring upcoming professionals to progress in the transport and logistics industry.
“The entire industry stands to benefit from the energy, commitment, and resourcefulness of women. It is an added advantage to participants as it enhances their Continuous Professional Development (CPD)through the Chartered Institute Of Logistics and Transportation (CILT)” she said.
