The Director General of the Nigerian Maritime Administration and Safety Agency (NIMASA) Dr. Bashir Jamoh has expressed deep sadness over the death of Engr. Oliver Ogbuagu, a former Executive Director, Operations at the Agency.
Dr. Jamoh who noted this while signing the condolence register at the home of the deceased in Lagos today also described Engr. Ogbuagu as “a dear friend and professional colleague who was very warm and supportive” saying the entire maritime industry will miss his experience and wealth of knowledge.
The Director-General prayed God to grant the late Engr. Ogbuagu eternal rest and give the family he left behind the fortitude to bear the painful loss.
Engr. Ogbuagu was reported to have passed on in Lagos at the early hours of Sunday April 10, 2022 after a brief illness.
