Eleven Nigerian banks have seen a total market capitalisation of N7.90 tn.
According to Prices for Securities Traded on Monday, Zenith Bank PLC led the Nigerian banking sector with a market capitalisation of N1.47 tn. The bank’s shares are currently priced at N46.85, reflecting a 1.85 per cent increase.
Guaranty Trust Holding Company PLC follows closely with a market cap of N1.71 tn. Its shares are valued at N58.00, showing a slight decline of 0.09 per cent.
United Bank for Africa PLC stands at N1.16tn in market capitalisation. Its shares are priced at N34.00, reflecting a decrease of 0.58 per cent.
FBN Holdings PLC has a market capitalisation of N1.02tn, with shares priced at N28.50, reflecting a decline of 5.63 per cent.
Access Holdings PLC has a market cap of N869.08bn, with shares priced at N24.45, showing a decline of 0.20 per cent.
Ecobank Transnational Incorporated has a market capitalisation of N557.83 bn, with its shares priced at N30.40.
Fidelity Bank PLC is valued at N560.21 bn, with shares priced at N17.50. The bank shows a decrease of 0.29 per cent.
