Women In Mining Hosts 5th Digital Training Conference
As part of efforts to develop the solid mineral sector in the country, Women in Mining Nigeria through its Training Institute (WIMTI) is set to hold its 5th Digital Training Series.
WIMIN believes that one major way of reaching out to individuals to fully grasp the concept of mining and the technicalities involved is through capacity building and knowledge shearing.
The 5th edition of the WIMTI class which holds today, Tuesday 30th of November 2021 by 4pm (WAT) shall have in attendance participants drawn from the mining sector in and outside Nigeria.
According to the organizers, the training shall have two sessions; the first session is titled “Embracing the Mining Sector in Nigeria; The Role of the Various Agencies in Ensuring Success” Speaker: Dr. Emeka Flemin Okengwu, Dev. Economist/Member NTWG-MTNDP and the second session is titled “Understanding Commodity Trading (Solid Minerals)” Speaker: Emomotimi Agama, M.D Nigerian Capital Market Institute.
A statement released by the study coordinator of WIMTI Barr. Mrs. Doris Aidighie promised that the training shall be an eye-opener to members of the public interested in knowing about the different agencies in the Mining sector and also solid mineral trading.
