Mrs. Carol Ufere was recently in Lagos inaugurated as the 5th President of the Committee of Friends for Humanity (COFFHA), which is a charity non-profit organisation created to provide humanitarian assistance in the society. It is made up of women who have excelled in their different fields of endeavours. The investiture ceremony also featured a fund raising ceremony of N100 million for building and equipment of an empowerment centre in aid of widows and the physical challanged.
