Stanel Gas Plant To Be Inaugurated Next Week

The Chief Executive Officer (CEO) Stanel Oil, Stanley Uzochukwu has announced that the Stanel Group ultra-modern mega gas plant in Awka, Anambra state is set for inauguration on Friday, this week.

Over 700 youths are set to be employed  in the ‘one stop’ mega centre expected to be officially commissioned by the Executive Governor of Anambra State, Willie Obiano on July 7, 2017.

According to the statement, operations at the mega centre, which has a well-equipped 1000-sitter Chapel, would commence with a 72-hour Praise and Worship’ beginning from Tuesday, July 4 to Friday, July 6, 2017, as part of activities to mark the official commissioning on July 7.

He said, “The programme would also entail the unveiling of STANEL GROUP customized high-quality products and services into Nigerian market.

“STANEL products are made of high quality and standard and I enjoin Nigerians to patronize STANEL tyres, STANEL engine oil, STANEL gas cylinders and the Nigerian economy would only grow if Nigerians adopt the culture of patronising Nigerian made goods,” the statement quoted Uzochukwu as saying.

“The inauguration activities would also include a programme for widows over 1000 widows would be empowered with cash and materials ahead of the inauguration,’’ he added.

The statement added that the inauguration will mark the entry of Stanel Group into the fast food industry as the company recently bought Chicken Republic franchise for the entire South East region and has built the best and biggest Chicken Republic store with a drive through.

The 1.5 million litres capacity mega gas plant is strategically located between the state-owned university, Nnamdi Azikiwe University and Anambra State Women Development Centre along 9th Mile – Awka expressway.

Facilities at the luxury Mega Center include a big Farmers’ Market (where fruits, vegetables and other farm produce are available), French Bakery, pharmacy store, automated car maintenance center, car wash, 1000 capacity Chapel, Warehouse, supermarket, staff quarters, Laundry and an event centre.

The Mega Center is also fully equipped with UBA ATM Gallery and Customers Service Center.
