The Western zone of the Association of Nigerian Licensed Customs Agents (ANLCA) has successfully elected new executives into the various chapters in the zone. The elections have set a new record as the most peaceful and hitch-free voting in recent times for the association.
However, this success did come at a very high price as the association had to engage the services of the Army, Police, Association security, Bouncers, even Thugs in order to ensure that the voting process was not interrupted.
While we celebrate the success at the polls, we also admonish the management of ANLCA to make efforts to enlighten and educate their members because the level of hooligans in the rank and file of the association is alarming.
