Ms. Hauwa Mohammad Mustapha is one of the two female-faces in the governing board of the Nigerian Shippers’ Council(NSC). Fondly called, aunty Hauwa, she is an amiable personality with ever-babyish tantalizing and smiling disposition. A pride of the north, where women are expected not to be seen and heard, her membership of the council’s board is not to fill the female gender quota but to demonstrate that women can add value, a role she is playing very well to help NSC redefine standards in the transport and logistics industries.
