Mrs. Gloria Kanabe is a seasoned maritime practitioner and consultant, active for over 30 years in International shipping and maritime industry. She is currently the Managing Partner for Hudson Gee Nigeria Ltd, a body of maritime consultants. Mrs. Kanabe is also the National Coordinator for Nigeria at African Women in Maritime (WIMAFRICA).
Gloria holds a Diploma in Business management, UK as well as a Degree in Law from the University of Lagos. She is also a practicing lawyer, being called to the bar in 2004 and a certified Arbitrator. She is a staunch researcher and has attended overseas trainings in UK and South Africa.
She is a role model for many women in the industry, championing women empowerment through organizations like Women’s International Shipping and Trading Association (WISTA) and WIMAFRICA.
