Folachious Folake

Mrs. Folake Onabolu is the National Chairperson of Society of Women Accountants of Nigeria (SWAN), and also Commissioner for Lagos State Audit Service Commission. She is the first female Certified Forensic Accountant to be produced by the Institute of Chartered Accountants of Nigeria (ICAN) and the entire public service of Nigeria. She is a graduate of Economics from the University of Ife. She worked with the firm of Coopers and Lybrand till 1987 until she became Audit Supervisor; Merchant Bank as Deputy Manager and rose to the position of Senior Manager; Head of Documentary Accounts, Department of the State Treasury Office and was in charge of Lagos State Domiciliary Accounts and Forensic and Foreign Exchange transaction; Head and Business Manager of the cash management module of the Oracle Financial Release of Lagos State Global Computerization Project. She is a caring housewife, compassionate mother and astute administrator.
