The collection of Practitioners Operating Fees (POF) by the Council for the Regulation of Freight Forwarding in Nigeria (CRFFN) is set to commence on Monday, October 5th, 2020.
CRFFN revealed this in a notice sent to freight forwarding groups to inform them of the planned take-off next week.
In one of the CRFFN circulars addressed to the Secretary General of National Association of Government Approved Freight Forwarders (NAGAFF), the Council also detailed the processes for making POF payments.
The document obtained by MMS Plus newspaper was titled, “POF ENFORCEMENT CIRCULAR”, signed by the CRFFN Director for Regulations and Enforcement, Mr. B.N Opara, read, “As a follow-up to our earlier notices, I wish to inform you that the payment of the Practitioners Operating Fee (POF) commences Monday 5th October, 2020.
“To make payment, visit the CRFFN portal, then click on the POF column. Your members cooperation is highly solicited. Accept the assurances of the CEOs higher regards.”
