Chinyere Asika Goes Home

24^th July, 2015 is a day to be remembered, even in decades to come. The late Chief (Mrs) Chinyere Asika, the wife of the former Sole Administrator of Eastern Region, Chief Ukpabi Asika, who had since passed away, was laid to rest in Onitsha, Anambra State. This day a funeral service in her honour was conducted at the All Saint’s Cathedral, Onitsha. The late Chinyere is the elder sister to Amb. (Dr.) Kema Chikwe, the Board of Trustee Chairman of MMS Plus Woman of Fortune Hall of Fame and the National Women Leader of the People’s Democratic Party (PDP). The funeral service was attended by people from all walks of life, including Gen. Yakubu Gowon, Gen. Theophilus Danjuma, Prof Pat Utomi, Past and Present governors of Anambra State.
