Cheering Chinwe

Dr. Mrs. Chinwe Ijeoma Abama graduated from the prestigious College of Medicine, University of Lagos in 1983, after her Housemanship in Military Hospital, Yaba she went for her National Youth Service in Police College, Ikeja, Lagos. In 1986, she was employed into Nigerian Ports Authority as a Medical Officer where she rose through the ranks to become the Head of various NPA clinics in TinCan Island Port, Apapa port and Point road clinic. She was transferred to the head the staff clinic in the corporate headquarters, Marina in 2003 where she remained till her appointment as Head of NPA Medical Department. She recently rose to become the first, female General Manger of the Medical Division in the history of NPA in May 2015.
