Obedience is better than sacrifice, as buttressed by the case of a retired Federal Road Safety (FRSC) officer in a viral video who rejected his son for not obeying the stay home order by the government despite warning him to staying back in Lagos until the Coronavirus pandemic is curbed.
Having arrived Ekiti from Lagos State, the father of the boy in the video insisted on having to get tested for Coronavirus or 14 days isolation before being allowed into his house. The retired officer refused his son from following him home as he drove off leaving his son with security operatives.
This unique quality earned the compliant father an appointment with the Ekiti State government as a member the State’s COVID-19 taskforce.
