BULLS: Ease of Doing Business?
President Buhari

The recent World Bank report indicated that Nigeria moved 15 steps from 146 in the Ease of Doing Business index to 131. It has been a laudable development elaborately celebrated by the Presidency, Ministries and several agencies. However, Nigerians shouldn’t be overwhelmed with this shadow of an achievement which hasn’t translated to real ease of doing business in the country.

Where is the power supply, road, rail or piping mode of transportation that should ease business operations? What’s the cost of doing business in the country? The burden of multiple taxation remains, while there are still traits of efficiency and corruption across business transactions.
We are still far from uhuru, this should be seen merely an indication that the nation can get thngs right.
