BULLS: Customs Up Their Game With  Technology

In an effort to curb smuggling and ensure maximum security against illegal trade activities, Nigerian Customs Service (NCS) has commence plans to deploy drones and Circuit Cable Television (CCTV) across the Country’s borders.

This initiative will enhance the agency’s performance and invariably increase revenue generation as illegal activities and theft will be greatly reduced if not eliminated and more legal trades recorded. The use of modern technology by security agencies has proven to be effective, reduce confrontation and extends to difficult areas beyond the reach of personnels.

It is a welcome innovation and NCS deserves some accolades.
