The Apapa gridlock which has defiled all solutions and suggestions has received temporary reprieve, recently.
The tanker trucks who are the major culprits of the unbearable situation, as a result of the tank farms located in the Apapa area, are now made to park at the two ends of the six lane road to pave way in the middle for other motorists to connect the Tincan Island Ports.
Relevant government authorities like the Nigerian Railway Corporation (NRC), Nigerian Shippers’ Council (NSC) among others should be more committed to finding long lasting innovative solutions to the gridlock. Abeg!
