The Governor of Borno State, Babagana Zulum, was on his way to Internally Displaced Persons (IDP) camps last week when his convoy got attacked in Baga, a town under Kukawa Local Government Area of Borno state.
This attack exposed the security challenge in the North Eastern part of the country. As the Nigerian Army failed to occupy Baga after one year in the community.
