Despite the increasing number of the COVID-19 pandemic in Lagos state, 65 partygoers have been arrested for violating the lockdown order at 84 Parks and Gardens, Augusto Close, Oko-Oba, Abule-Egba area of the state for a birthday bash.
The party goers within the age range of 16 to 45 gathered from different parts of the state, some of the suspects were found in the swimming pool catching fun and others consuming some substances suspected to be illicit drugs, in total neglect of the social distancing regulations and the lockdown order.
Why is it difficult to obey simple instructions and adhere strictly to safety regulations to help curb the pandemic so that normalcy can return to the state?
