The cumbersome transaction processes plaguing the nation’s maritime sector continued to attract negative reviews as the Lagos Corridor Organization, was reported to have reached the conclusion through a survey it carried out on Apapa and Tin Can Island ports in Lagos, and adjudged the nation’s seaports to be the most inefficient with highest days of cargo dwell time in the West African sub region. Despite the lofty plans of the nation to become a hub of maritime activities in the West and Central African region, the truth is that the nation remains far from this dream.
