It is disheartening that the toilet in Apapa command of the Nigeria Customs Service (NCS) is in such a deplorable state, not only is the stalls under lock and key with king size padlocks, the surroundings of the lavatory of the largest revenue generating maritime destination of the Federal Republic of Nigeria is so dirty, it makes you wonder how people who cannot even keep their toilets clean can be trusted with the resources of the people.
They sing the loudest song of the change mantra of the government, yet they have refused to change their untidy mannerisms. Charity they say begins at home.
