This week, Bears witnessed where a military officer used his military office to threaten people who queued up to buy fuel. The officer who claimed to be in a hurry was supposed to plead with the people on the queue to allow him buy fuel but instead of that, he threatened to beat them while he brought out his belt.
He said he was going to create a scene because the people resisted him from shunting the line. He even said the people lacked respect.
And Bears ask, “respect for who? For him who do not show one?
This is a graphic example of what happens to defenceless Nigerians everyday on the road, at home, everywhere because they are not wearing uniforms and those paid to protect them are bullying them.
When will all these end?
