NPA: When Audit Negotiates!

NPA: When Audit Negotiates!
Managing Director of Nigerian Ports Authority (NPA) Ms. Hadiza Bala-Usman

It is unbelievable to hear that infighting and gross insubordination is tearing NPA apart.

The Public Affairs department is polarized with the new General Manager (GM) still confused and standing alof in disagreement always with his subordinates who have mastered the act of dodging and serving external and internal masters at the detriment of corporate image.

The GM Audit, Mr. Abdul Ningi on the other hand, seems, to lack knowledge of things in his department where his AGM who is a perpetual fighter of his superiors calls the shot. It is on record that the AGM made Lagos Port Complex (LPC) unmanageable for Mrs. Victoria Ezeoke.

Now, with some lieutenants under him as the AGM in head office, the Managing Director is having a stiff fight, again. Only negotiated bills are passed untouched in Audit and by “Audit”. And for bills originating from Public Affairs, the “Fuji house of Commotion” is always scared of defending its proposals, even when their integrity is questioned. No wonder other departments see them as “corporate office fillers”. It is unfortunate to note that Hadiza can win “Wars” outside but fail like “olodoo” in house.

If Ningi can’t fix Audit and save NPA and Hadiza, then Ningi and his power usurper and others should be fixed. What are the public affairs officials doing? Their act seems to be justifying the need for consultants to run the show. There are few people that must go to restructure the place.

Note that promotions and government positions do not do the job. What does the job is skill and knowledge.

Hadiza, must not allow gender chauvinists to brand her a failure and a tribalist which is aimed at by these spoilers’ at their private meetings.

Enemies are on prowl! Buhari Save NPA!!
