The National Association of Government Approved Freight Forwarders (NAGAFF) has set up a Five-Man Fact Finding Committee to look into the activities of two of its Chapters.

The affected Chapters are Tincan Island and PTML.

Inaugurating the Five-Man Fact Finding Committee at the NAGAFF Headquarters, the National President, Dr. Eugene Nweke said the move by the Headquarters was another effort of the management to reposition the association for optimal performances and to be strategically alive to cope with the dynamics of the maritime industry.

Emphatically Dr. Nweke noted that the move was not to witch-hunt anybody but an administrative effort designed to keep the Association’s officers on their toes and be on top of their game.

The NAGAFF President added that the Fact Finding Committee is also in line with the task put before the new Chapter executives at their inauguration which is aimed at encouraging them to present their score-cards periodically to identify areas of lapses.

In his response, Chairman of the Fact Finding Committee, Elder Donatus Ofoma thanked the NAGAFF High Command for the confidence reposed in the members.

Elder Ofoma described the task before the Committee as another call to service and pledged the total commitment to the assignment with a view to deliver on schedule, to the benefit of our great Association.

The Committee has been given two weeks to complete its assignment.

The other members are Deaconess Kate E. Oghagbon, Mr. Emeka Nwosu and Mr.Stanley Ejiogu while Mr. Dipo Olayoku is to serve as its Secretary.
