Investigation Of NCAT Aircraft Accident Disrupted As Bandits Burn AircraftArmed bandits operating in North-West axis have set the TB-9 Tampico aircraft belonging to theNigerian College of Aviation Technology(NCAT), Zaria,   on fire after riddling its hull with bullets.

MMS Plus gathered that the armed bandits thought the aircraft was one of the jets in the fleet of the Nigerian Airforce (NAF) that had been bombarding their camps since the beginning of the year.

 The incident which took place after the plane crashed and the pilot evacuated might affect the investigation into the crashed aircraft.

Although NAF personnel, the Inspector General of Police and management of the school have visited the scene but no official statement has been released on the situation as at yet.

Recall that NCAT aircraft on March 1, 2019 lost one of its TB-9 Tampico aircraft after a forced landing by the pilot at about 14:40 due an engine failure.

The aircraft which was on a test flight conducted by a Pilot and an Engineer and all occupant came out unhurt.
